Lord Elgin, Earl of Elgin and
honorary Colonel of the Elgin Regiment, and Lady Elgin, greet members of
The Old Elgin Band on their tour of Scotland and England. The Band performed
on the lawns of the Earl's
residence, "Broomhall", near Dunfermline, Scotland. Other performances were
given at Sterling Castle,
Newcastle, and on the battlefields of Bannockburn in honour of Robert The
Bruce, ancient ancestor of the
the Earl of Elgin. |
