The Old Elgin Band is dedicated to the preservation and continuation of the single-valve trumpet
band tradition in the twenty first century. The band provides opportunities for people, young and old,
to make music for personal satisfaction, recreational enjoyment, and social interaction.
As a community band, the musicians in The Old Elgin Band strive to raise their standards of music making while contributing to the enjoyment of music by others through performances for civic events, area celebrations, and service group functions. |
